The most common lifting method, used by forklifts etc.
Webbing for lifting loops extends above the bag to form any size of lifting required i.e. 30cm; 35cm; 50cm etc.
CROSS CORNER LOOPS
Omega Style
For cross corner loops, a specially woven material called omega material is required.
The big advantage of an omega style bag is that the full inside capacity of the bag can be utilized, due to the fact that the webbing isn’t sewn onto the corners of the bag, your inside dimensions are your outside dimensions.
Omega material has 8 x re-enforced strips woven into the material to provide the extra support when lifting the bags.
These re-enforced strips can be placed any distance from the corners of the bags, this is depended on the customer’s preference.

The webbing is then placed inside the cuff and aligned with re-enforced strips before being sewn onto the bag.
Mulox Style
Cross corner lifting loops.
Loops are sewn onto the outside of the bag.
Stevedore
2 Sleeves sewn onto opposite sides of the bag.
The sleeves create an additional centre lift option to the bags.
Cargo Slings
Webbing is sewn into a sling, creating 4 x lifting loops.
The sling can be sewn onto a base to create a reference for the size of a stack to be packed.
Slings are ideal to transport a stack of smaller bags (i.e. 25kg or 50Kg bags).
Slings are a great replacement for pallets. It’s easy to transport and doesn’t require any fumigation etc.
